Librairie Loeb-Larocque specializes in maps, atlases and travel books from the 16th - 19th century.

Librairie Loeb-Larocque
was founded in 1958 by my father Louis Loeb-Larocque. Originally from Germany he arrived, shortly after the War in France. He started an antiquarian map and book shop fist in Monaco, but shortly after he moved to Paris. He build a company specializing in early maps, atlases, travel books and prints. The shop was housed until my father's death in 1996 at Rue Le Peletier in Paris and was frequently visited by collectors and fellow dealers from all parts of the world. Present-day the office is located in Paris in the lively 13th district at 31, rue de Tolbiac, a 5 minutes walk from the Biliotheque National de France and China Town. Visitors are welcome by appointment from Monday till Friday.

Auctions
Beside being an expert for individual items in auctions held at Drouot I'm the main expert in the November auction of Binoche-Renaud-Giquello offering fine and rare maps and views, atlases, prints and travel books. The next auction will be taking place on 7 November 2008.
