Detailed map of Irak and Iran, prepared by A. H. Basset, rue Saint-Jacques, no. 64, Paris and published in Atlas classique et Universel de Géographie . . . .

The top three are present-day Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan and they are labeled TARTARIE INDEPENDENT. The map is very detailed and shows many towns, many of which are interlinked with a road system or caravan routes.
The engraver of the map was Berthe.

The Balochistan region covers southwest Pakistan, southwest Afghanistan and southeast Iran.
