Description

Original vintage Cunard luxury cruise liner travel poster advertising Cunard Europe to all America fastest ocean service in the world. Stunning design featuring two colourful illustrations, one of the RMS Queen Mary arriving at New York being towed by three tugboats sailing past the city skyscrapers of New York city, and the other of the RMS Queen Elizabeth leaving the ocean terminal Cherbourg being guided by three tugboats with the modern terminal building in the foreground, the stylized red text diagonally between the images and above and below against a red border.

Cunard Line was founded in 1840, the Queen Mary was launched in 1936 and retired in 1967 (now permanently moored in California). The Queen Elizabeth was launched in 1938 as the largest luxury ocean liner of the time and was retired in 1968.
