Description
A wonderful French political cartoon, depicting St. Peter refusing to admit Napoleon III through the gates of Paradise. 'Badingue' was the nickname given to Napoleon III. There is a conversation captioned between the two in French below. A crestfallen Napoleon is seen wearing a monks habit, sandals, a bag being the caption 'Dynastie', and a large syringe/clyster tucked under one arm.
