Condition: Original gouache fixed on a larger sheet (255 x 330 mm) with number 6619 in black ink in lower margin. In excellent condition and well preserved because of the protective sleeve.

Outstanding "art déco" gouache (unsigned) from the workshop of "R. Pichon. Ateliers de Dessin et Lithographie – 10, rue Rochechouart – Paris.

The gouache depicts an elegant woman placing flowers in a vase. Colors are bright and fresh.
The workshop specialized in graphic design for advertising, and R. Pichon, active from 1910 to 1940, worked for the Lorilleux printing house, for which he created many models in the 1920s/1930s.
Pichon also worked frequently for the magazine Caractère, primarily on special Christmas issues.
