Description
A political lithograph in which two old soldiers discuss recent military events between Belgium and Holland. Very
roughly translated; one says to the other: "I know from a person
currently in the Netherlands that, thanks to the evacuation of the army
officers, the trenches are still going their way, the center goes up and
down, and despite the rocket's of the Belgians, the Dutch let go of
their locks; the sentries placed along the citadel will soon fall prey
to invasion: the rest will evacuate and return to their chamber pots."
